NOT JUST A CHAT WINDOW

Godot-aware.
Project-ready.

Orca understands the scenes, scripts, and resources you work with. Less explaining your setup. More moving your project forward.

Your project, in context.

Inspect scene hierarchies, signals, resources, and input actions. Orca follows the active scene and script—including unsaved source in the script editor.

Every change, yours to review.

Readable diffs. Explicit approval. Supported edits are validated and checked against current file state before Orca writes to your project.

Focused run workflows

Run a saved scene and inspect bounded startup or exit evidence.

A workflow you can follow

Visible tool activity, project conversations, and multi-step task lists.

THINK IT THROUGH. THEN BUILD.

Two modes.
One deliberate workflow.

Separate exploration from implementation. A mode switch is never an approval to change your files.

01 / PLAN

Understand first.
Change nothing.

Explore your project, ask questions, and work out the next step. Plan mode is read-only for project and external state.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

More in the docs
Is Orca free to use?

Yes. Orca is open source under the MIT License. Hosted providers may charge for model usage; local inference depends on the server and model you run.

Which Godot versions are supported?

Orca 1.2.1 supports Godot 4.7.2. Broader compatibility is not currently claimed.

Can Orca change files without asking?

Plan mode is read-only. Work mode can prepare changes, but each model-requested project change needs an explicit Apply or Reject decision. Switching modes does not approve a change.

Can I use a local model?

Yes, through Ollama, LM Studio, or another local OpenAI-compatible server. Chat is available first. Agent tools require an isolated compatibility probe to pass and must then be explicitly enabled. A passing probe does not guarantee reliable real-project tool use.

Can Orca verify my game works correctly?

Orca can evaluate narrow startup or exit criteria using bounded process output. This cannot prove visual or gameplay correctness. Continue testing your game as you normally would.
